Artist

John Louis Warner
Metal Sculptor

About

Born on a farm outside of Redwood Falls, Minnesota, John was known for his hard work, kindness and love for people. Among a family of specially gifted musicians and craftsmen, John first found his voice through singing. His use of creativity to connect with others continued throughout life as he nurtured his talents playing the banjo and sculpting.

John expressed many of his cherished images of life through his metal art works – including rural and western landscapes, animals, music, and sports. Sculpting was a passion and a way of connecting with others.

Beyond his art work, John was a life-long champion for those that were differently-abled. In 1969 he joined his parents and proudly founded Warner Care Homes providing a home for formerly institutionalized developmentally disabled adults.
